Services for people with disabilities
The Statistical Office in Łódź building is adapted for wheelchair users and is equipped with an elevator and a restroom for people with disabilities.
Since April 2012, the assistance of a sign language interpreter has also been available.
In accordance with the Act of 19 August 2011 on Sign Language and Other Means of Communication (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1824), a person experiencing permanent or temporary communication difficulties may use the assistance of a sign language interpreter when dealing with matters at the Office.
Notice of the intent to use this service should be submitted to the Office three days prior to the scheduled visit.

The Office ensures service provision; if the requested date is unavailable, an alternative date will be arranged.
The use of an interpreter at the Office is free of charge for eligible persons with disabilities, as defined by the Act of 27 August 1997 on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1172).
