The Office’s area of specialisation
Since January 1, 2009, the organization of work within the public statistics system has been based on the specialization of statistical offices. This system involves assigning specific offices the responsibility for conducting nationwide surveys within defined subject areas.
As part of this specialization, the Statistical Office in Łódź conducts surveys regarding:
small and medium-sized enterprises:
- SP-3 Report on the economic activity of enterprises;
- Survey of newly established enterprises.
living conditions of the population:
- Household budget survey,
- Household condition survey,
- European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC),
- Social Cohesion Survey,
- Time use survey.
The Office specializes in:
- carrying out tasks related to specific stages of the statistical survey process;
- developing and updating statistical survey methodologies;
- creating, developing, and interpreting classification standards and nomenclatures.
