STATISTICAL EDUCATION FOR YOUTH – promoting statistics in schools across the Łódź Voivodeship
Note: Sessions for schools located outside the city of Łódź are conducted exclusively online.
The Łódź Centre for Regional Surveys at the Statistical Office in Łódź invites you to participate in the "STATISTICAL EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH" initiative, aimed at students from various types and levels of schools in the Łódź region.
- This annual initiative begins in October and runs throughout the entire school year.
- As part of these educational activities, we offer sessions held at the school premises in the form of lectures, games, workshops, or exercises.
- Sessions for primary schools are conducted as multimedia presentations tailored to specific age groups and include practical exercises.
- The primary goal of these educational sessions is to familiarize students with the work and publications of the Statistical Office in Łódź and Statistics Poland (GUS), as well as to broaden their knowledge about our region, Poland, and the European Union.
- The proposed sessions aim to teach the correct interpretation of statistical data and develop skills in using statistical data sources, while also preparing students to become informed future respondents.
- The materials used during the sessions are adapted to the students' age and comprehension levels.
By contacting the Statistical Office in Łódź to arrange educational sessions, a school representative consents to the use of their personal data—including the provided contact phone number—for the purpose of coordinating the details of the educational meetings.
