The primary task of the Regional Research Centres operating within statistical offices is to provide professional, reliable, and objective statistical information that reflects the region's socio-economic situation and meets user needs.
As part of its operations, the Łódź Regional Research Centre collaborates with:

- the academic community,
- the business community,
- schools and the student community,
- the media,
- other institutions.
