Accidents at work in 2024 – preliminary data

67.0 thousand persons injured in accidents at work were reported in 2024, i.e. 2.4% persons fewer than in 2023. The number of injured persons per 1,000 employed persons (the incidence rate) decreased from 4.90 to 4.80.
In 2024, the highest number of injuries were recorded in accidents at work with other effects – 66.3 thousand persons. 0.5 thousand persons sustained injuries in serious accidents, while 0.2 thousand persons were injured in fatal accidents. 0.3 thousand persons were injured while performing remote work or telework.
