Statistics Poland experts at the 35th Economic Forum in Karpacz
It is difficult to discuss the economy, demographics, health or the development of new technologies without data. That is why experts from Statistics Poland will take part in the 35th Economic Forum, to be held in Karpacz on 8–10 September 2026.
The Economic Forum brings together representatives of public administration, business, academia and other communities to discuss key social and economic challenges. This year’s edition is held under the theme “Architecture of a New Order – Stability in Times of Change” and its programme includes more than 500 events across eight main thematic areas, including the economy, society, healthcare, digitalisation and artificial intelligence.
Statistics Poland is actively contributing to this year’s Forum programme by organising four panels on:
- tourism and the use of new data sources – the panel “Tourism Records. Smart Technologies and Key Data” will present, among other things, new solutions for analysing tourism trends, including the Tourism+ dashboard;
- the importance of the domestic component of major investments – the discussion on local content will draw on the first experiences from a Statistics Poland pilot project measuring the domestic component of strategic investments;
- the data-driven economy – focusing on the responsible sharing and linking of public and private data and their use for the economy, public policies, AI development and better services;
- the protection of national cultural heritage in crisis situations and during wartime.
Our experts will also take part in other panels, sessions and presentations where reliable data are essential for assessing the situation and making informed decisions. We will discuss, among other topics, demographics, health and quality of life, public services, artificial intelligence and the labour market.
Statistics Poland’s presence at the Forum is an opportunity to bring official statistics into discussions on the challenges that affect the country’s development and the quality of life of its residents. A reliable assessment of social and economic developments is the starting point for informed decision-making.
During the Forum, we will share key data, insights from our experts and conclusions from the debates on the Statistics Poland website and social media channels.
