Honorary patronage of the Director of the Statistical Office in Lublin

RULES

for granting honorary patronage or participation
in the honorary committee by the Director of the Statistical Office in Lublin

I. General Rules

These Rules govern the requirements and procedure for granting honorary patronage or participation in the honorary committee, hereinafter referred to as patronage, by the Director of the Statistical Office in Lublin, hereinafter referred to as the Director.

II. Specific Rules

  1. The Director grants patronage as an expression of special recognition for projects that are thematically related to the mission and scope of tasks performed by public statistics and are characterized by a high level of substantive and organizational quality.
  2. Patronage may only be granted to projects with a regional, national, or international scope.
  3. The Director does not grant patronage to commercial projects.
  4. For cyclical projects, it is necessary to apply for patronage for each edition.
  5. Granting patronage does not constitute a declaration of financial or organizational support for the project. 6. Information about the Director's granting of patronage is published in the "List of Honorary Patronages and Honorary Committee Memberships Granted by the Director of the Statistical Office in Lublin" on the website of the Statistical Office in Lublin at http://www.stat.gov.pl/lublin/.
  6. If patronage is granted, the organizer is obligated to:
    1) provide information about the honorary distinction to co-organizers and participants of the project,
    2) include this information on all promotional and informational materials.

III. Patronage Granting Procedure

  1. The organizer must submit an application for patronage no later than 60 days before the project's commencement date.
  2. The application form referred to in point 1, which is an appendix to the Rules, is available on the website of the Statistical Office in Lublin.
  3. The application must be accompanied by the program and regulations of the project; if necessary, the Statistical Office in Lublin may request additional information from the organizer. 
  4. The application, along with attachments, should be sent to:
  5.  Information about the Director's decision regarding granting or refusing patronage will be communicated to the organizer in writing within 30 days of the date of submission of the application.
  6. A decision refusing patronage is not subject to appeal.
  7. In justified cases, the Director may rescind the decision to grant patronage or resign from the honorary committee, of which the organizer will be notified in writing.
