Social Responsibility of Statistics

Scope of Socially Responsible Activities

We are very committed to promoting and implementing the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility in official statistics. The CSR concept involves developing a strategy that takes into account social interests, environmental protection and relations with stakeholders. This means that when implementing socially responsible activities, we must focus on tasks such as:

  • application of modern digital technologies
  • enhancing the competencies of officials,
  • ensuring equal access and independence for all users of the services we provide.

An important issue for us is promoting the CSR-D (Corporate Social Responsibility and Disability Inclusion) concept in our work environment. It refers to the efficient f integration of individuals with special needs into society and professional life. The basic goal of CSR-D is to increase the employment of persons with disabilities in public offices and companies, increase their job satisfaction and identification with the employer.

Our activities in this area include disseminating statistical information and publications on disability. We implement good practices withing the framework of CSR-D  in the area of:

  • organizational governance,
  • human rights,
  • work environment,
  • initiatives aimed at local communities.

We also undertake numerous charitable activities aimed at people with disabilities or special needs.

CSR Reports

Every year, we document and publish our CSR activities in a report. This allows us to share our practices and experience with others.
